Social Responsibility

At One Jeanswear Group we believe that everyone has the right to work in safe, ethical and humane working conditions. We work with a base of factories spanning several countries and have forged strong relationships with each of them to help ensure they adhere to our high compliance standards. The health and safety of the workers in these factories and the environmental impacts of production are of the utmost importance to us and as such we have a robust system in place to monitor compliance.

We require all of our suppliers to participate in the HIGG Index. The Index asks questions regarding a facility’s impact on the environment and any measures they take to be more sustainable. Topics include reporting on these 7 categories: energy use, greenhouse gasses and carbon footprint, water use, wastewater, air emissions, waste, and chemical management.

One Jeanswear Group regularly performs Code of Conduct audits on our major factories and mills. We also hold vendor summits that allow us to educate our suppliers, work through problems and innovate towards a better future.

We calculate our carbon footprint annually and we have reduced our impact in excess of 5% compared to our prior year disclosure.
